“At MIHP, I’ve been in the Strength & Conditioning Gym, Cryotherapy and Hydrotherapy as part of my training program and the facilities are the best I’ve come across!“

Anthony Crolla, 30, is a professional boxer from Manchester. He held the WBA lightweight title from 2015 to 2016, and the British lightweight title from 2011 to 2012.

Anthony, who is currently on the countdown to his next lightweight fight with Ricky Burns, Scottish three-weight world champion, at the Manchester Arena on 7th October, has been using the facilities at The Manchester Institute of Health & Performance (MIHP) to help prepare him and also had his boxer medical at MIHP including a doctor assessment, MRI brain scan and a range of blood tests.

“My experience at The Manchester Institute of Health & Performance (MIHP) has been fantastic from start to finish. I’ve been in the Strength & Conditioning Gym, Cryotherapy and Hydrotherapy as part of my training program and the facilities are the best I’ve come across!“, Anthony commented.

“It’s great to have a world-class sports and performance centre like MIHP in my home city and I was also able to have all the tests for my boxing medical done under-one-roof. I would recommend their expertise and equipment to fellow boxers and athletes.”
